I returned a router to this location and the representative accepted it. However, the store sent the return to the wrong destination. Because of Verizon's error, I was charged $540 and the issue was sent to collections, which dropped my credit score by roughly 150 points. I’ve spent all of 2025 trying to get this corrected with no resolution so far. I’ve contacted Verizon and this store many times, and multiple representatives I spoke with acknowledged that this was an error on Verizon's end and assured me the balance would be removed. Still, they never removed the balance, the charge was sent to collections, and now Verizon refuses to communicate with me on the matter. This situation has been especially frustrating as I have always paid everything on time and returned all equipment as required. This store’s error has turned into a damaging, ongoing problem that has had major financial and credit consequences for me. It should not take this long for corporate to address and resolve something that originated from a verified return and was already recognized internally as a mistake. I’m sharing my experience so future customers understand the potential risks of working with this store and how Verizon handled the issue afterward. I genuinely hope a Verizon representative steps in to correct this properly.
