First off, this isn’t even a real Verizon store but a third party store that sells Verizon products. My fiancé and I were starting a family plan to save money. He came over to my plan and after Kai ported my fiancés number over to my account, he had no service. We were told multiple times that it is instantaneous for service. Never once were we told that porting his number over to my account would cause him to lose service. We went to the Verizon store in Springfield and we were told that my fiancés phone was “locked” and now we were forced to get a new phone for him. By having to get a new phone, that would have increased our bill when we were getting on a plan together to lower our monthly bill. Calling back the “Verizon” aka wireless zone to speak to Kai, my fiancé was hung up on multiple times by not only Kai but also the manager Lloyd. Neither one of them took accountability for the inconvenience they caused us. Extremely rude and unprofessional. They scam you into thinking they’re exactly Verizon when they are not. Hoping this can save someone a headache.
