When I first opened my account, I was promised a promotion to pay off my old provider — which never happened. I eventually came back to upgrade my phone, trusting that things would be handled better, but once again, the promotion wasn’t clearly explained, and now I’m stuck with an unexpected balance on a new device. I shouldn’t have to spend hours in a Verizon store resolving issues and still end up dealing with customer service over the phone afterward. If that’s the case, what’s the point of coming into the store at all? I just want transparency and consistency when handling my account. I feel lied to and Schemed for a sale and I don’t like that.

I signed up for a promotional offer and to have my number transferred. The number transfer has been a nightmare. They have no clue what they’re doing. Had to contact customer service multiple times from my daughter’s phone because I had no service. Then, when I received my first bill, it was significantly more than I was told it would be. Again, called customer service and was told they credited my account and fixed it. Lies! Received my next bill. Slightly lower, but still quite a bit higher than it was supposed to be. Again, called customer service & was told they credited my account and fixed it. Again Lies!! I’m still being charged more than I signed up for. Do NOT be fooled by their “promotional offers.” It’s a bunch of lies and they will screw you out of more money. As soon as I can, I will be changing my phone company and will NEVER do business with Verizon again. Also, reporting them to BBB. Verizon should be shut down for their sketchy business practices.
