  This Verizon store stands in a class far above any Verizon store that I have visited. All employees that have helped me with my phones have been extremely knowledgeable and courteous. However, the one thing that stands out above all , my observation while waiting, is that all customers receive the same courteous service.

  After a horrible experience at the corporate Verizon store and unhelpful phone support, I was done. My phone was dead, and I was ready to switch to T-Mobile. I walked into the Verizon Victra store on Clay St in Albany as a last resort, angry and frustrated. Jake was working that day, and he completely turned everything around. He was amazingly patient, calm, and friendly. He actually listened, figured out the real problem, and fixed it on the spot. He single-handedly saved my account with Verizon. His customer service skills are world-class. If you have a problem, ask for Jake. He is a true credit to the Victra and Verizon brands.

  I went into the store and was wanting to lower my bill. I was told that the best option was to get two cellphone numbers, and would not just upgrade the phone I had like i wanted. I was told that I was over paying for my current Verizon phone plan. I was also told that I would get a 200 dollar billing credit for doing their bring your own device. I was then told to get the home internet also and that it would be no charge what so ever. Then if I kept the internet for 2 to 3 months that I would get another 200 dollar billing credit. After all of this my bill was around 60 dollars more then what they had told me it was and I was going to pay 400 dollars for the first month. I went to the corvallis store by winco and they said that none of that was right. Upgraded my phone like I wanted and saved me around 50 dollars. They were willing to do the phone upgrade like I asked for in the first place. Ended up getting a fantastic new phone for a lower price then what I had before. They also said that the internet was 35 bucks a month. I later got a call from Verizon corporate and they told me that those bill credit where false and they never offered those credits. They removed the internet and got my bill 35 bucks lower again. The Albany store also said that every other phone case is terrible and to buy their only brand, said otter box cases suck and are pointless. In short they lied at every turn to me to get me to over pay as much as they could. Lied about any other product for the phone. They lied about the billing credits, forced a terrible plan for me, and told me that I would lose my number and Verizon account if I did not do anything that day cause my plan was dated. Uncharted me around 80 dollars give or take a bit, and lied about the billing credits offers. Please do not go here and go to the corvallis store where the employees listen and take care of their customers as they request.

  So I was helped at the Clay Street location by a gentleman named Jake, from the very beginning, he was so informative, helpful, patient and went above and beyond to get the best deals and to make sure everything was transferred and set up properly and that I understood how to use it. He was also very polite and I would definitely recommend having him assist you with your Verizon experience. Thank You Jake for being awesome, I know I won’t go anywhere else
