I explained to Cris that it was the against the law and may result in a fine if she doesn’t accept it and they she may want to call a manager. She stated that she is the manager today. I have bought over a dozen phones from this store but will not ever again.
- KJKevin JonesOct 21, 20251.0On 10/20/25, my wife dropped her phone and the screen was cracked. The phone was hard to get to work properly because of the cracked screen. We immediately went to Verizon in Durant. We arrived at 5:47 pm. The store did not close until 6 pm. There was two other customers in the store at the time of our arrival. The person working advised that she would be with us shortly. At 6:03 pm she came over and asked if she could help us. We showed her the phone and she said it was bad. She then stated she couldn't help us because the store was actually closed and we would need to return the next day. We waited for almost 15 minutes for her to say that to us. We were inside the store before it closed. Obviously, customer service is not a concern for them. If customers are going to be turned away just because it hits 6pm then close and lock your doors early. We drove to Sherman and was helped immediately. By the way, we found out that this store is not a Verizon Corporate store but an independent dealer. Will not be back to this store and will be glad to drive to Sherman to for the customer service.
