All I can say is take your animal here. I have a three year old kitty who ended up getting pyometra. As a young 20 year old girl I was just in shambles over my kitty and worried I wasn’t going to be able to cover the cost of things while wanting the best care possible for her. God bless them, they worked with me on pricing and Dr. Martin and Kristi were absolutely heaven sent and I just couldn’t be more grateful I went here. Such loving, kind, and understanding people. Don’t second guess taking your pet here. I feel very blessed today.

VCA Woodland BA reached out the Monday after we adopted “Barney,” a handsome Maltese from the local SPCA. A four year-old rescue who’s proved to be a great companion for my widowed mom. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed—Rose greeted us by name at the door, even though this was our first visit. The communication was excellent, and the clinic was clean, organized, and calm. Small details like the poster welcome heart with WiFi info only adds to the accolades.
Dr. McKeAigg joined us quickly (even though we arrived 15 minutes early) and was patient, gentle, and thorough. The assistant followed up with instructions and to see if there any questions. We never felt rushed. Barney clearly felt safe and cared for. (The handicap parking just a few feet from the entrance was a plus!) Walk-in to exit took 40-45 minutes.
Looks like Barney’s officially found his new veterinary home.

My man and I rescued a kitten from his job back towards the end of July. We brought her in the following week to have her checked on.. mainly cause she wasn’t pooping and it worried me. The Dr and her assistant were so sweet and gentle with her. They gave her a welcome gift with a bunch of new kitten essentials, which was so very appreciated. I have never raised a kitten before so this was all new to me. Unfortunately, I can’t bring my cats into the Vet as often as I would like, but when I can.. it will be here no doubt. Highly recommended!! Here’s an updated picture of Cleo aka “Bean”. Hard to get good pictures of her cause she is on the move non-stop!

Today we had to say goodbye to our boy and I’m so glad that I was able to find VCA Woodland. They were so compassionate and didn’t run a bunch of tests and escalate the cost like others. The Dr was great and although my boys couldn’t watch Trooper wasn’t able to die at home they allowed all of us plus our other little girl (pet) to be there which made Trooper feel at home. They are the most competent vet I’ve been to in a long time. It’s got to be difficult for them to deal with the sadness that comes with what they do but they will show you and your pet the highest level of compassion. Thank you VCA for making the worst day manageable and having everything for us to move on with cremation or burial. I know I was beyond a wreck when I arrived but you all made the most unbearable decision easier. For all that I can’t thank your staff enough.
