My entire story is too long to type but the store salesman (I'll be nice and not mention his name) basically told me I had $1000 for my trade in on my old phone when it was $800. I found all this out after I left the store and saw my bill. I was told I would owe nothing for this new phone. That was not the case. I did not even go into buy a phone but have the SIM card activated. He talked me into a new phone and then he gave the wrong promotion. Therefore, basically ripping me off $200. Not to mention, the $35 upgrade fee that was supposed to be waived, was not. Thankfully, Verizon corporate made it right, but this retailer was not working with me nor taking responsibility. Thankfully, I had a receipt that listed the $1000 trade in. The last time I went in there to see what was going on (as the sales kid was supposed to be calling Verizon), this kid was hiding behind his computer like I could not see him. Own up to your mistakes, apologize, make it right and move on. I think this kid needs a good life lesson and some maturity. If this is how he handled this situation, life is going to sucker punch him big time. Had he handled this appropriately, I would not have left this review. Not once was I told sorry even after he told me it was his mistake. Not once was I a priority to get this rectified. He was super nice until he screwed up and copped an attitude. STICK WITH CORPORATE STORES FOLKS!!
