I’m out of the country and my mom went in to get an upgrade and they made no effort to help me or her figure out how to add her as an account manager. She ended up walking out bc they acted like she was an inconvenience instead of helping a customer! Also to add she was the only customer there with 5 employees standing around. Do better Verizon!! Hire people who actually care and help people. I’m fuming and have had an account with them forever. Makes me want to change carriers.

- MBMyles BrookerJul 17, 20255.0I ended up dealing with Tyler (whoever the store manager was on 7/9/2025 at 2PM-ish) to resolve an issue regarding setting up Verizon Home Internet. While he didn't exude charm and was a bit brusque (reflecting a very high stress/pressure job even by today's standards), he was all business and was able to navigate through a series of challenges, calling his district manager, etc until finally he handed me the gateway and I've been a content customer ever since. He was not overtly pushy, merely doing his job to see if I wanted cellular service with Verizon but dropping it when he could see what I had cost less (Visible). As a crotchety old fart myself, I frankly appreciated that he wasn't full of fake phony charm and instead was all about getting the job done. Excellent experience.
