Went to switch 4 lines from T-mobile to Verizon. Shock, I was lied to about a number of things. "Your activation charges will be waived". They were not and Verizon now says they "can't". More like they wont. I will be on my way to the store to return all 4 phones and move back to T-mobile

6+ year Verizon customer. If you need actual real help steer clear. Came into the store with plan and phones fully picked out, just had to separate 2 lines and put them on a new account. Was told that is something that is impossible to do in store and that I had to call an overseas call center (i.e. I am an informed consumer and there was no way for them to make commission so they were unwilling to help me). I politely asked to not do that as it seems a pretty basic service (why have physical stores if you can't do account management? Seems like a lie) and was bluntly told "No. Let me know when you're ready for the phone number." I stood in the store for two hours on the phone in the store and still did not receive the help I needed. Multiple customers came up to our party to discuss how poorly we were being treated. Store employees glared at me as I had to fight on the phone to get any help. Terrible staff that is rude as hell. Corporate/phone agents even asked for store number and employee names because "this is absolutely something they should be able to help you with in store"!!! What a lovely place! A computer error on the backend that was verifiably false (even admitted to be incorrect by every online support employee) with no end date that anybody could give me left me with no choice but to switch carriers. Thank you to the completely incompetent staff at this store that kicked off these issues that made me switch telecoms, you guys suck! Hope you're not affected by the layoffs! Wonder why you guys are losing subscribers?

The associate that helped me; A.J. Was a Blessing!! Was very personable and able to be a savior to all my problems 🙏🏼 I upgraded and has a surplus of issues with a few trade ins (Thanks Best Buy 😒) but the legendary A.J. Was able to resolve my issues and answer my questions in a manner that was professional and personable! Verizon is lucky to have such a rockstar working for them!

Be prepared to wait two hours. Staff disappera in the back constantly. My first visit the customer rep was great but I noticed the long wait. My second visit its like the back room is a lounge spot where employees go when they dont want to be seen or play on phone. Its unfortunate because some of the staff are great.
