I went into this store and waited 30 minutes. Then was told I needed to put myself in the queue. So I did. After another 30 minutes, a representative came to help me. I was getting a new phone and switching to Verizon. The guy was rushing and was trying to get out of there. He handed me the new phone, and said you just do the following steps and it’ll all transfer. He made it sound so easy. Here I am now, a day later and my phone doesn’t work. I can’t receive texts or calls and no one at Verizon can figure out why. Very upset that all of this could have been avoided if the rep could have just set up my phone for me.

The process of trying to port my mother-in-law’s line into her own name after her husband’s death has been absolutely miserable. It’s been almost a month, and her account is still “pending” to be set up in her name. We’ve driven to this corporate store twice — an hour each way — and made more than four phone calls trying to get this resolved.
No one at Verizon seems to know how to handle this situation or take ownership of it. When someone loses a spouse, the last thing they should have to deal with is endless runaround and confusion. The lack of compassion, competence, and accountability is truly disappointing.
Furthermore, they are REQUIRING her to open a new account with her outdated address in an old state! They say she can't change it for the 1st 30 days. Why the hell would that even be necessary? She hasn't lived at that address in over 2 months.
Verizon has shown us that they don’t care about their customers — especially those going through something difficult. They’ve lost my trust and my business for good.

Me and my wife went to this location last Saturday to process my phone trade-in plus the iwatch. We have been waiting for an hour plus for someone to accommodate us. Good thing their supervisor always checks on us that the rep will be there to assist us shortly. But still, we waited so long.
After we have been entertained they gave us a quote for the charges that we will be expecting every month. My wife knew about these hidden charges and she requested to have it removed before we finalized our contract. The rep was hesitant at first and keep pushing the charges but still my wife insisted. The supervisor again came by to settle it. Guys, make sure you check your statement first before finalizing your contract. As much as possible, check every details especially the charges that will be given. If you really don't need it, then don't get it. Insist to them that you don't want it.
My wife and I felt that the rep was feeling tired and not willing to assist us anymore. We extended more our patience. When we were about to finalize things especially for the delivery, the rep forgot to check the address where it should be delivered and to our suprise it was wrongly processed by the rep. And now he was really not in the mood to straigthen it up. He tried to call the customer service to have it fixed and changed the address. He was very confident that everything was ok. A few days later, we received a notice that the packaged was delivered to the wrong address. This time our patience limit is on top. Tomorrow then, we will go back to the store to talk to the manager and have this problem of theirs fixed. 😡
I'm a very patient type of person and rarely gave negative feedbacks or review. But with the troubles and hassles that happened to us, this will not be acceptable and we have been a loyal customer to Verizon ever since.

This is one of the least friendly Verizon stores I’ve ever been to and they constantly try to oversell what you need. I have now been here to shop for two phones in the past two years and I’ve always ended up ultimately buying the phone from a different Verizon location. They do not break down your bills for you in a clear way, nor are they transparent about how to help you spend the least amount of money possible.
For example: I insisted to the store rep that I did not need protection on my phone because I have insurance in other ways, but he said that the only way for me to order the phone was to keep the protection plan on it, and then cancel it after it was delivered to the store. He said that since the phone is being shipped, I have to make sure I pay to have the phone protected in case something happens with the shipping. However, if something happens in the shipping, that sounds more like a “Verizon problem” to me than a “me problem” to me because I won’t even have been in possession of the phone yet. I went to the store in Columbia Parkway instead and they were completely friendly and transparent about ways to save money. It turns out that the store in Kenwood was incorrect.
