brought in our cat for her annual checkup and routine vaccines. they tried to charge us $400. when we balked at the price, we were offered some sort of membership program that “covers” appointments and vaccines and would be $800 a year! highway robbery! they then separated our cat from us and acted surprised when she freaked out. they refused to examine her with us in the room—something about it being too “loud” even though we were the only people at the clinic—and instead gave us a sedative to give her before bringing her back. the sedative was only $20 so we dodged that bullet and called other vets to confirm that their pricing was outrageous. we will *not* be bringing our cat back.

How much lab work does it take to diagnose kennel cough? Really? $1300+? am I paying for someone's tuition all at once? Wow! Went there in an emergency, end up leaving, charge for the visit with no medicine. found someone else for so much cheaper and received the antibiotics that my pet needed. I have to wonder why the vet knows my pet needs antibiotics, but refuse to prescribe it unless we pay for a huge amount of lab tests that is use to confirm an infection! This is why human health insurance have to pre-authorize certain test and treatment. Not fair but we have to wonder!

We have used Bond Animal Hospital for about 20 years. Recently, the last 6 months. I’m sorry to report that there has been too much turnover in the medical staff. Doctors we knew and knew our pooch are all gone. And we don’t feel comfortable with the care anymore. The personal touch is gone.
On a positive note, the front desk personnel has improved.

I recently brought my latest addition to the family, a ten-year-old, blind Yorkie, to Bond Animal Hospital for an initial check-up with Dr. McKenzie. Among my pets, little Colin makes lucky #7 to become a current patient at Bond. Over the many years that I have been a client, my cats, dogs, and rabbits have received state-of-the-art professional care in a kind and caring atmosphere. High tech diagnostics and compassionate care have contributed to the longevity of my furry family members. Fully accredited, Bond Animal Hospital delivers the highest caliber of veterinary medical care. My pets are not the only ones who have benefited from our association with Bond Animal Hospital. Thanks to Dr. Aspros' social media expertise, I have been inspired by his Facebook posting to pursue my LVT. For those who like to complement allopathic medicine with other alternatives, Dr. Silva is a good listener who adds her expertise to the mix. If you have an exotic pet, Rob Moore is kind, thorough, and knowledgeable, and with his own rescued rabbit, a kindred spirit. It's no surprise that Bond Animal Hospital was rated tops in Westchester County!
