They usually have appointments relatively quickly and they arrange it so when you arrive the waiting room is not full of animals, which is good when you have a dog that is nervous around other dogs. They seem to really care for the animals which is something g that doesn’t happen everywhere.

We had a scare with our 13-year-old dog, and the team at Sayville Animal Hospital was absolutely amazing. The doctor and assistant were so gentle, patient, and understanding. They took the time to comfort our dog and reassure us through the whole visit. Truly grateful for their care and compassion!

Hello, I am reaching out to you for assistance. On May 25, 2025, I gave a golden Pit Bull Terrier puppy to a man for adoption. About two weeks later, I wrote to him to ask how the puppy was doing. He replied that everything was fine and that his family was happy to have such a puppy. I asked him to send me a couple of photos, but he ignored my request. Another two weeks later, I wrote to him again, asking for at least one photo to confirm that the puppy was fine. Once again, he ignored my message. A month later, I sent him another request, and he rudely replied that his first dog did not accept the puppy and that he dropped him off at your clinic. When I asked about the puppy’s condition, he told me that he left him specifically at your clinic. This caused me even greater suspicion and concern for the puppy’s well-being. He also claims that your clinic and the attending veterinarian of his first dog (a Golden Retriever, judging by photos) can confirm that the puppy is fine. The puppy is a golden Pit Bull Terrier, born on February 1, 2025. He has a white chest, white paws, and a very distinctive marking — a white spot on the back of his neck in the shape of the state of New York. Could you please let me know if you have seen such a puppy? If so, what is his condition? If he has been adopted through you, I would be happy to know that he is safe and well — that is the most important thing for me. Thank you very much in advance for your reply and assistance.
