- AOAmanda O'ReillyOct 7, 20252.0went here to try and get my number transferred to a new account and then upgrade my phone. sales rep told me i needed to be an account manager but didn't tell me that i needed to go through a rather lengthy transfer process with a credit inquiry. maybe i should have assumed that but i wasted a lot of time the following day doing that and still wasn't able to upgrade my phone. had he told me about the transfer service request process, i wouldn't have wasted an hour the next day when i went to another verizon store and would have been able to upgrade, instead i needed to enter day 3 of this whole process. a little frustrating since i told him i needed to transfer my account when i got to the store and he didn't mention it.
