- LBLauren BrizziDec 29, 20251.0Verizon informed me that we had three eligible upgrades and that the phones would be free with the upgrades. Based on that information, we decided to move forward. We were helped by Tony, who was very personable and what I believed to be helpful. WRONG! We were told that the phones came with a bundle that included a phone case, screen protector, and charger, and this was presented as part of the upgrade. We were not provided with a printed receipt at the time of purchase. We were charged $300 per line, when asked informed taxes and other things with the phone. I was told I would receive an emailed receipt, which never came, When we contacted the store for clarification, they emailed us an itemized breakdown. That never came again, I asked on phone for the breakdown, again wouldn’t go into detail said taxes. I called verizon who informed they were unsure so came to the reviews That’s when we learned that the “included” bundles were not free and were actually charged separately. This was never clearly explained during the transaction. Had we known the true cost upfront, we would have declined the bundles and purchased accessories elsewhere for much less. While the staff member was friendly, it is evident what type of store this is and what they do to the consumer.

Good people are hard to find now a days but Verizon for sure found a great dude! If you go in, Ask for Simon! PS. Enjoy your card / new addiction (Pokémon)
