I very rarely write reviews and almost never negative ones because I am a private business owner and know how things can unravel some times but, VCA in Raybrook is not a good place to have care for your loved pet. We began taking our dog there when when local vet passed away and another retired. Our dog had a severe allergy problem develop and we spent upwards of 2K for care, probably 5 visits and we were not getting anywhere. The vet was all over the board and we found it difficult to follow what her suggested plan was and the dog was getting worse. I finally developed my own plan through some internet searching and our dog started making some progress. We thought we had her on the road to recovery. Then disaster struck, one night our baby started getting sick, I called after 5 pm and left an urgent message to call me first thing in the morning that I was worried that she wasn’t going to make it. I left instructions to call my cell phone ASAP when they opened. Anyway, they called my GF’s cell at 9:30am, not my cell, not 8am and left a curt message that they were overbooked for the day and couldn’t help me and suggested some other vets. Our baby was already gone. We have never even received a follow up call. Don’t go here, they don’t care and it’s just big business to them.
