- KKKristinNov 25, 20251.0I wanted to upgrade my phone and after being lied to by a chat rep and going through another nonproductive headache with another chat rep, I decided to give Verizon one last chance. I came in with the intention of purchasing a new iPhone in store. I was greeted right away. The rep said he would return from the back with a quote in 4-6 minutes. Many minutes passed. My husband and I browsed but became impatient. I have back issues and there were no chairs to sit on in the store to relieve my pain from standing. After more than 15 minutes, still no rep. We left and went back to our hotel. I immediately cancelled Verizon and signed up with a competitor.

The customer service representative that we 1st talked to was great, helpful and willing to chat until the manager walked over, then he kind of backed away and let the manager talk. Not helpful, directing us to call*611to correct the problem but never said “ they are only open during the week”. Suggest that they could help us if we more or less ditch that phone and get a new number!! I had another question but I will hold that till my next visit at another store …. Same guy that told my son at 17 that he was not allowed to up his service as a firefighter- well that’s currently getting fixed at another location!! Guess what this is my closest Verizon, but I will definitely travel out to another Verizon next week to purchase my new phones !!
