They took such great care of my new kitten at this office. Prima was such a help in booking my appointments and keeping up on vaccines. Our kitten had lots of worms and they gave us the best treatment plan available: now she is good as new! We are so grateful to their team.

A despicable office with despicable practices. They leave employees listed on the website to make believe the office is thriving when it isn't. Their lateness policy has been pushing out clients consistently. They leave it up to reception to make the call if something is considered an emergency or not. Only because they don't want the doctors to feel guilty for saying no or for them to take responsibility. They deceptively have clients sign up for their packages to pre-pay for services often not telling them they haven't used it. The office manager uses tactics to push people out of the office or get fired. The office manager also likes not to leave papertrails of said accusations as to not get in trouble from her bosses. The office manager marginalizes people in the office that even don't fit her political views her being a registered Democrat. If you're a client who needs to be seen go to Townline around the corner.

I walked in today with my dog around 5:00 pm regarding a medical issue. The receptionist rudely snapped at me that the vet absolutely cannot see my dog because I didn’t have an appointment, and to go to an animal emergency room instead (my dog had a mild issue which did not warrant an emergency visit). I drove 2 minutes down the road to ‘Towne Line Veterinary Clinic’ instead, and they were able to help my dog. (It is a lovely, newly renovated place with compassionate employees). Hauppauge Animal Hospital, on the other hand, is in need of new employees and a complete renovation (it’s dated, dingy and dark). I will not be coming back here.

We had been customers for over 10 years. They have a policy if you are late more than 10 minutes, they cancel you. They were times if they had a emergency , We had to wait, We didn't complain. We arrived 11 minutes late. We got an email that we were 10 minutes late and therefore our appointment was cancelled. The doctor would not see us even though we were there, they said we had to reschedule. Unfortunately this office is about money first. Animal care second. I strongly advise people to find another practice.

My dog and I had one of the best experiences here today, we were greeted so nicely by the black haired gentleman upfront (sorry I don't know his name) and Annemarie, they were both so kind, friendly and helpful. Dr. Forsberg was so honest and so down down to earth and we had an amazing experience with him and will most definitely be making him our new vet! Britt was so kind and gentle as well, thank you VCA for a wonderful experience today!
