    This is the worst Best Buy I have ever been to in my life. It all started on November 13, when I visited the Best Buy in the Halifax Shopping Centre for the first time. When I entered the store, no one greeted me, so I went to find what I needed on my own—an SD card for my camera. Eventually, Anshita came over and tried to help me, but it was clear she had no knowledge at all about the product. Then an Asian male associate approached Anshita to supposedly help as well, but instead of assisting me, the two of them started talking about random things between themselves while I continued searching on my own. When I finally found the SD card and went to check out, Anshita didn’t ask for my email or any information. She just processed the transaction. When I told her I wanted the purchase added to my Best Buy profile, she said it wasn’t necessary—which surprised me since retail stores usually ask for a phone number or email. At the end of the transaction, another sales associate told her that I was right and that it did need to be attached to my profile because I planned to request a Black Friday price match. But by then it was too late, as Anshita had already completed the transaction. She then looked at me with attitude, for absolutely no reason. Today, November 22, I went back to the same store to request my Black Friday price match. When I saw Anshita at the cash, I didn’t want to be served by her. She looked right at me and ignored me several times while standing behind the tills. My partner eventually approached her since she was the only one available. I politely explained that I wanted to do a price match, and during the entire transaction she spoke to a colleague in another language, gave me attitude, and treated me incredibly poorly. When my card chip failed and I asked for the decline receipt for my bank, she told me she threw it away—even though she literally had it in her hand. She eventually gave it to me all crumpled up. On top of that, when I showed her my e-receipt on my phone for the original transaction, she grabbed my phone without asking for permission. I couldn’t believe it. She is extremely unprofessional, and if she dislikes her job that much—which is obvious from her behavior—she should quit. I cannot understand how someone with her attitude is still working as a sales associate; any manager witnessing this would have fired her immediately. When I left the store, I was shocked, and my partner was extremely upset as well. 0 stars out of 5 for sure.
