I drove two and half an hour to Halifax to pick up my iPhone from a phone shop located inside the Halifax Shopping Centre. While I was there, the staff offered me phone insurance. I politely declined and said I would think about it. After that, the phone was handed to me.
When I asked for a bag, the employee assisting me said, “Sorry, we don’t have bags.” I said that was fine and placed my iPhone in my own bag. After leaving the store, I sat on a bench nearby and noticed that many other customers were leaving the same store with bags.
This made me feel uncomfortable and treated unfairly. The employee who assisted me was a slim woman with short hair. Based on this experience, I felt there may have been unequal treatment, and the service I received was very disappointing.
Because of this experience, I will not return to this store and would not recommend it to others. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all customers are treated equally and respectfully.
For a company selling iPhones, not providing a bag to customers is unacceptable and reflects poor customer service.

I don't know where to start. I went to the store because my phone kept on disconnecting whenever I'm calling someone no matter direct or wifi calling. I am with the same server for about 3 years now. I had iPhone 14 pro max before I switched to iPhone 17 and never had any issues. The problem started since I upgraded to this new device.
I went to the store and told the associate my issue but she was like they are running tests on my phone and said it's the carrier problem not theirs. I tried to explain this never happened before and I have talked to my carrier beforehand and it's not their issue. She asked me to contact the carrier and if it still doesn't sort the problem come back to us and we will run another tests!
I mentioned the phone is still under warranty and what if it doesn't work can they change it? She was like, "we can't simply swap the phones!"
Also, the associate took my phone inside to run some tests and even chipped off my screen protector and when i said so she was like, "where you get the screen protector from? Is it under warranty?" etc
Not satisfied with their service!!!

On December 18, 2025, the Apple Store Halifax Centre permanently lost all of my personal data due to internal handling failures and ignored instructions.
I was told my phone’s battery was unsafe and had to be sent to a depot. I clearly stated multiple times that my phone contained critical personal data and that I did not consent to shipping unless it was fully backed up. I was repeatedly assured by staff that a backup would be completed beforehand.
A visible label stating “DO NOT SHIP UNTIL BACKED UP” was placed on my device. I was also advised not to take the phone home due to safety concerns, leaving me with no reasonable alternative but to rely on Apple’s guidance.
Despite this, my phone was factory reset and shipped anyway. I was informed the next day that all of my personal data was permanently lost.
I was forced to purchase a new phone worth 2000$ the same night because my eSIM was tied to the original device. Store employees provided no meaningful assistance with setting up the new phone or transferring the eSIM, even though this situation resulted directly from Apple’s handling errors. The interaction felt rushed as the store was closing.
This was not a technical issue but it was a failure of process, communication, and customer care. I relied entirely on Apple employees, and their assurances were not followed.
This incident warrants escalation to Apple Retail leadership, a formal review of store procedures, and compensation for the data loss and costs incurred. I am still awaiting accountability and resolution.

Misleading customer service. Booked an appointment for battery replacement; said available on this location. When we spoke to the lady at the store, we were told “Apple doesn’t do battery replacement for iPhone X” which is not true.
Later confirmed with Apple Support the service is still available. Support tried to communicate with the store and they ignored the call all together.
It’s sad to see the management let this misinformation goes around.
