If you want to spend 7 hours of your week at a Verizon store, this is the location for you! Day 1 - I came in for a simple phone upgrade. They sold me on the promotion for a ‘free’ iPad and Apple Watch, you just pay for the cellular lines. Fine. When I went to check out the activation fees for both lines, previously unmentioned, showed up. Annoying but still, fine. 3 hours. Day 2 - I realized I didn’t really want the iPad, I wanted to return my phone case and my Apple Watch was not set up properly, so come back in. Well, the iPad return has a $50 restocking fee which hadn’t been mentioned, so not doing that. The sales rep had to call Verizon to figure out the watch, and still couldn’t! The watch has to be exchanged, but can’t be exchanged because their return system is down. So I also can’t even return my phone case. 0/3 problems solved. Come back tomorrow. 2.5 hours. Day 3 - New watch, also doesn’t work, the rep has to call Verizon again. We FINALLY get the watch working, and return the case. After all this time, maybe they can at least waive that $50 restock fee for the iPad I don’t want? No. Nothing for spending almost a full work day over the course of a week in a Verizon store. 1.5 hours. Throughout my 7 hours there the manager of the store never once checked in with me, despite it being very obvious that I was having a bad experience and was not happy with the service I was receiving. She literally walked up to the rep working with me to ask what issues he was dealing with, and yet she didn’t acknowledge me sitting 2 feet away from her. My family plan has been with Verizon for over 20 years, but this experience was so bad that I’m looking at T Mobile and AT&T now. Spare yourself the nightmare and go somewhere else.

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO GINA AND KIM‼️ These ladies worked nonstop to help me get setup and didn’t break the bank. Very grateful for the hard work, effort, and time they put in to make sure I was good to go with anything we had to do which was a lot. Even Cristian helped with the transition and deserves some of the spotlight.

I really dread the time I have to go there to get a temporary line to my parents who visit me from abroad a lot and usually buy a temporary line inner to use during their long visit. I’ve experienced an unnecessary amount of waste of time due to lack of clarity, experience and knowledge about their own services. They all seem bored out of their brains and not properly trained to handle frustrated customers, and let me be clear, this frustration is because of them!!! Not sure if all Verizon outlets are like that, but that’s the one closest to me… so I’m done with this one! Or maybe I’m done with Verizon in general if that’s how they’re all like that!!

the owner of victra Verizon needs to understand that the manager of the Verizon store in west orange nj destroyed the core and bonded family this store originally had. she showed up this location and spreaded her negative and unprofessional energy to the young men that worked there. Today I picked up a router and noticed everyone is new now. How does this go unnoticed? as time went on each original employee looked disturbed, annoyed and distraught. she belittled them. And I am sure the young men that was there are mentally happy and free. I warned people about this manager and she’s still going strong. There has to be something wrong with higher up leadership in this company. she forces customers to give good reviews to hide how disgusting and nasty she is as a person. I’m glad those guys left … but I also feel bad for the new employees. you guys need to wake up and get this looked at before it becomes a bigger problem. and if any of the new employees that is reading this . SPEAK UP and goodluck.
