The rep lied to me telling me I had to pay my phone off before trading it in and I was already at a different Verizon store and they said I could trade it in without paying it off then he told me that 16 pro max is discontinued and my app was allowing me to purchase one. Mind you The 16 Pro Max is in fact in stock and not discontinue. He told me that the system wasn’t registering the right stock and that the order would get kicked back after submitted. Then he was telling me higher monthly payments than my app was telling me when I asked for quotes for adding a line. Then when I call him out he said he apologizes and that he didn’t scroll all the way down on his tablet to see that I didn’t need to pay off my phone before trading it in and that his monthly numbers were off and so I said well you could have cost my family money and he said well we would have caught it before completing the order. It’s so blatantly obvious that he had malicious intent so much so that he kept saying “I had no malicious intent I promise it was a mistake” his whole demeanor changed and looked super nervous when he got caught lying then tried to talk in circles and I had to keep stopping him. Absolutely grimey. I will always order new phones online from now on.
