WOW. I had to bring my father’s dog for his yearly allergy shot. The technician was super kind and professional. Dr I clearly has a way with animals. I will definitely be switching my personal animals over. What a pleasant experience!!

While at work this morning, I came across a parent who saw a kitten get hit by a car on Hooper Avenue. The kitten was in bad shape but still breathing so a coworker and I rushed the kitten to the closest vet, which was VCA Fischer Vets. From the second we walked in we were treated with compassion and everyone jumped into action to see if they could do anything to save the kitten. Unfortunately the injuries were severe, but they comforted us by letting us know they’d be able to put it down and end its suffering. I can’t say enough about how kind and caring every employee was. Thank you for making this sad morning into a comforting day.

Giving 1 star because it makes you select a start otherwise there wouldn’t be getting any. I called letting them know I was running 10 minutes late for my appointment the women on the other line was SO incredibly rude she said “well that’s halfway through the appointment time you need to reschedule the appointment that’s the whole reason for appointment” I didn’t know 10 mins was halfway through a freaking appointment it’s not like I was going to be half hour late it was 10mins!!! We have been going here for 6 years with my dog!!! Time to look elsewhere!! We will not be returning ever.

Recently moved to the area, new house- our 14 year old little dog Benji took a tumble on the stairs and was limping on and off. Hubby called for an appointment. His records were transferred over from previous veterinary. Benji was thoroughly examined and X-rays taken. Medication prescribed and filled on site. Waiting area and examination room extremely clean. Staff was AMAZING!!! Attentive and caring! Great big thank you to Dr laquinto, Colleen Brie and Sharon !! Highly recommend!!! Parking on site. Groomers next door

If I could give a lesser review for this place it would. People at the front desk have been increasingly rude. I have bringing my two cats & dog here for maybe 3 years now and it has just been getting worse. My cat was sick and she got blood work and they said they would call me tomorrow with the results, I called there 3 times the next day waiting for the results as she hasn’t been eating in about 5 days. Finally someone gave me her blood work & they said she’s had kidney failure and I should put her down.dont you think if it was that bad I should have been called at 8am when they opened?? NOT 2pm cause I was being a Karen and calling nonstop. I couldn’t believe it, I brought her to GSVS in eatontown & they said based on her blood numbers they received (from VCA) she doesn’t have kidney failure and she had a UTI and kidney infection & her kidney numbers were elevated because she hasn’t eaten in 5 days. THEN, they couldn’t do the urinalysis but still charged me for it and the rude woman on the phone at the front desk said “it’s part of the panel idk what to tell you” I thought I trusted this place. They were so rude, unprofessional & gave me misinformation to but my 7 year old cat down when she was sick. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. My two cats and dog will be doing to garden state veterinary.
