All I wanted to know was whether they had the new iPhone in stock and I was forced to sign into a queue. No one would speak to me until my time was called. I signed up, 30 mins later, I got a message from the Verizon app and was told I would be called within 10 minutes. I stood there for another 30 minutes. I finally stopped someone who was completely dismissive of my question, cutting me off to confirm with me I’m in the queue. I told him I just want to confirm whether or not you have the iPhone in stock he said no.
TLDR; I wasted an hour of my day because these people were so adamant in forcing a kiosk instead of having someone triage needs. One person next to me said they were waiting 45 minutes just to purchase a phone charger cable. Do better, Verizon.

I came into the store to upgrade my phone. I picked out a phone and was prepared to pay cash for it. However, the sales person told me about a promotion that was too good to be true and I told him that it didn’t make sense. I also told him that I did not want to pay over a certain amount of money per month, and he assured me that I wouldn’t . At the end of the process , I told the sales rep that I did not have the email yet with the breakdown of the prices. He said it would take a few minutes . When I got home, I received the email . He probably delayed sending me the receipt. When I looked at the receipt , I was going to be paying a lot more money than I would have if I would have just payed cash for the phone. I was very upset because I spent about 2 hours in the store to purchase the phone . Then I had to go right back and return the phone because of unethical practices. The return took another 1.5 hours. I do not recommend this store . If you must go to this store, you can’t believe anything they are saying .

Horrible experience trying to drop off my old phone, the lady Joyce helping me was not helpful and not knowledgeable on how to handle the process. Instead, I was on the phone for one hour with a very patient customer service agent at the same time trying to solve the problem. I got my problem solved not from Joyce but from the customer service agent on the phone while Joyce kept going to the back of the store and I had no way of asking help from her. Zero stars if possible.

Had a pretty disappointing experience at this store. I came in with a very clear request — to upgrade my plan with more hotspot data — but instead of helping me with that, they repeatedly pushed other services I didn’t want and challenged almost everything I said. For example, when I told them, ‘I cannot install internet in the building because I’m not the owner,’ they said things like, ‘Why not? You’re working there, right? It would just be for you.’ That only stopped after finding out the building could not have internet installed.
They then kept pressuring me about perks even after I clearly said I didn’t feel comfortable adding on the ones they were trying to sell me. They added them anyways making me feel like I had no choice.
What made it worse was that they kept whispering to each other throughout the interaction things like “sell her two perks”, which felt like they weren’t being transparent or upfront with me, I just wanted a simple plan adjustment, but they kept pushing extra things I didn’t need, even when I said no multiple times.
At first the cost to my bill would be $10 more but then after I said ok that sounds great suddenly it turned to $30+
In the end, the pressure was so overwhelming that I had to just stop the conversation and quickly walk out — it felt like the only way to end it.
Thankfully, I went to a different store right afterwards and they were able to disable the unwanted perks. They also showed me that I could have gotten a way better plan deal, but saw I was still feeling uneasy and didn’t try to sell me to change it at all.
Overall, it was a really uncomfortable experience, and if I had to go there again I would not go alone. I really hope this location rethinks how they treat customers and stops using these aggressive sales tactics.

I'm sorry there's no way to give a lower rating than what I did. The store manager and associates lied about the prices, promotions and that in North Caldwell, NJ there would be service. There is no consistent service in our house or while driving around our town. Every month our bill goes up and after 45 minutes of speaking with a manager, Verizon sees the mistake. That being said, we're still paying more than $25.00 more than what we signed up for with my wife's teacher discount.
It's hard to believe there's a worse service than AT&T, but Verizon did it with flying colors.
Congratulations to Verizon for their lying and stealing customer's money and service.
We're currently deciding if we should go back to AT&T or try T-Mobile. NOTHING could be worse than Verizon, excepts for their store managers bait and switch and their customer service!!!!!!!
