  My in-laws went to this location to upgrade a line on the account. Rather than upgrade the line, they added a line and put the new phone on the number they originally went to upgrade. It does not matter if the new line is “free” (which is wasn’t) or if it decreases the bill, this is bad business. It’s a numbers game with these stores and the more new lines they can get, the better they look. They saw a perfect opportunity to take advantage of some elderly people and it’s just wrong. Not to mention, once we returned everything, the same sales rep made us swap the phones back to the original numbers, made me cancel the new line HE ADDED, and charged a $50 restocking fee. Thankfully Verizon Customer service agreed this was bad customer service and credited us $130. I’d stay far away from this location, they do not have YOU in their best interest. STAY AWAY

  Jason was super polite and got our order right away. He was confronted by a customer who was upset about something but kept his cool and didn't seem to get bothered himself. Very professional and respectful service.

  I am very happy now that I have finally got my phone ported over from AT&T. Verizon is a way superior service but quite honestly the customer service I got at East Hanover was abysmal. It was terrible. These guys couldn’t be bothered to follow through to make sure that my number finally got switched over even though it was close to three weeks ago. Until today I had to walk around with two phones constantly every time I called for help, each of the 3 employees promised they’re gonna stay on top of it and I just needed to wait 72 hours. I never got a callback never a follow up. Ivan went back to the location twice and got the same brush off, they were going to handle it. I was just livid with this end result finally, I had a guy on the phone that was tier one and handled it. He was very polite and made up for the terrible service. I got at the Verizon East Hanover. I’d never like to write reviews like this, but I gotta call it when I see it.

  Buyer beware at this location. I recently upgraded my device. Shortly after my new device was received, I started receiving alerts via text and email that Verizon Mobile Protection was added to my line. Upon returning my old device to the store, I inquired about VZ Mobile Protection. The agent said it was protection for the phone and it’s $19/month. I never authorized that feature being added to my account. I requested the agent remove the feature. He said “they can only add features at the store and cannot remove features.”. I think his name was Pinocchio. I was able to get reduction after spending 90 minutes of my time trying to speak to a live customer service agent.

  I went in on Monday to upgrade my phone, I did not have a good experience and felt forced into a phone without being given all options. I went back today after calling and speaking to Amy. When I went in Amy helped me straighten it all out. She was amazing!! While I was waiting for my info to transfer, Amy was helping a woman next to me, she went above and beyond for her as well. Amy really turned my experience around. She is a big asset to this store! Thank you, Amy!!
