    I just saw the response from the manager to my review. For anyone looking to use this store, note that every time a bad review comes in, the manager apologizes for what happened. Obviously, nothing changes because the store continues to have a culture of being nasty to its customers. I understand that these are not rocket scientists helping people with phones. All I was looking for was a helpful person and there wasn’t one to be found. His apologies are a joke and I actually don’t even believe that they come from the manager. The response probably comes from one of the nasty people working there. Let’s see if one of them answers this review. I’m moving over to AT&T. Very bad culture at this store. Nasty people. No reason for a business providing customer service and sales to have downright nasty people working there. The sales rep I had was obviously not very bright , but that’s ok if she was at least nice and tried to help me. But very passive aggressive. I’ll be changing to my husband’s ATT plan after my experience there today.

    Went in here to drop off my FIOS router and was told they don’t accept returns and pickups. I was then given 2 Verizon addresses: Woodbridge and Princeton. Both which would cost me 30 minutes each way. Good thing I did my due diligence and called up the one on US1 in Edison as they accept returns and pickups.

    I visited this store around 3:30 PM on Tuesday after another location told me this store had two iPhone 17 Pro units in stock. We drove 40 minutes to get there and checked in upon arrival — I even received a text confirming my spot in the queue. However, when it was finally my turn, a female employee with partially red hair and two half buns started helping another customer who arrived after me. When I mentioned that I had been there first, she claimed my name wasn’t in the queue, despite the confirmation text. I asked if they had any iPhone 17 Pros in stock, and WITHOUT CHECKING THE INVENTORY, she insisted they didn’t — saying she handled all shipments daily and knew for sure. She also claimed that other stores couldn’t check their inventory for customers, which is simply false. She then brought over the manager, who said that if customers knew about their inventory, they would get robbed. That explanation made no sense and only added to the frustration. Before leaving, we asked for the employee’s name, and she said she couldn’t share it “for security reasons.” At that point, I couldn’t help but wonder if they were holding the phones for themselves or friends. When we mentioned we’d leave a one-star review, she sarcastically said, “One star to you too.” This was by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had at an Verizon store. Completely unprofessional behavior — unhelpful staff, no accountability, and a lack of basic courtesy.

    Visited this east brunswick nj store yesterday afternoon, sept 24, 2025, about 3;30 pm. Unfortunately i can’t rate a NEGATIVE Five Stars - that’s how pathetic the “Customer Service” is at this location. a text book example of Customer DISSERVICE - the management (AM and GM) should be reassigned so no other customer has the misfortune of interacting with them. AWFUL and TERRIBLE experience - repeatedly at this store. the ONLY reason i went there is because an excellent CS rep i had just spoken with on the phone strongly advised me to go there. the AM did not appear to be trained even in the basic fundamentals of Customer Service 101 - he ignored, and basically refused to respond to, or, acknowledge, in any manner, MY greeting him with a big smile and a “Hello” - not just once but twice - yea, you read that right, folks - TWICE!!! he just literally BARGED his way in the space, telling me how he cannot help my problem in any manner whatsoever - and wait wait - it gets even better - EVEN BEFORE asking ANY question - and without hearing a SINGLE word from me. VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE SENIOR MANAGEMENT, Verizon Headquarters, PLEASE TAKE NOTE. the initial east brunswick store cs gentleman who assisted me, was OUTSTANDING in my interactions with him. may be he should be promoted to AM to replace the said AM!!!

    I had a great experience at the Tices Ln and rt 18 Verizon store thanks to Altereek! He went above and beyond to help us with a tricky issue and my daughter's phone. He spent nearly two hours troubleshooting, never once losing his patience or his positive attitude. Altereek was not only knowledgeable, but also friendly, funny, and a professional the entire time. His upbeat spirit made a frustrating situation so much easier, and I truly appreciated how dedicated he was to getting the problem resolved. Thanks to his hard work, my daughter's 17 is working perfectly. I can't thank him enough! Verizon is lucky to have someone like Altereek on their team.
