- JJJohnAug 21, 20251.0Came in to the store to add someone who was on another verizon plan onto my plan and upgrade their phone. Apparently, verizon is unable to do this in store. They were unable to provide any assistance beyond giving me the customer service number to call. After an hour on the phone for each of us trying to add account managers, get transfer pins, transfer requests, etc. they were finally added to my plan. This process ended up taking so long it put us within 20min of the stores closing time, which the staff indicated was too close to closing time to do an upgrade. Their suggestion?… request the upgrade online. Not sure the point of having a storefront if they cant help with plan management or if the suggested upgrade method is online.

Now we’re trying to fix our bill but because we’re not making a purchase none of the reps seem to have the time to help us, even the “manager”. I will be switching from Verizon asap after being a loyal customer for over a decade.
