I would recommend not using this store and going to a corporate Verizon store. We weren’t really sure of the difference and the fact these cellular sales stores can market themselves as Verizon is confusing. My husband ordered the new iPhone 17 with Tristan. It was going to be delivered on September 19. We called the store that afternoon and another gentleman answered. We inquired about the phone arriving and the response was the gentleman asking who we worked with and we’d have to talk to them to see if the phone arrived. He stated we would get a call as soon as it arrives and don’t go based on Verizon emails because those can be “wrong.” We asked multiple times and he ended up “checking” telling us the phone has not arrived yet. No worries we had several more hours. We chose to drive to Swansboro for dinner to grab the phone after because surely after 6pm it would have arrived. We went into the store and spoke to a young gentleman who again asked who we worked with and told us Tristen wasn’t working that day, he said he didn’t think our phone arrived but would check anyways. He went into the back and came out telling us unfortunately our phone didn’t arrive. We left pretty upset and remembered we had FedEx tracking information. We pulled up the tracking and discovered it was delivered that day at 2:22pm and signed for by S Lamb. We went back into the store. All employees appeared to be helping someone else so we quietly stood there for 15 minutes. Meanwhile my husband was calling FedEx to report a lost package for a $1200 iPhone, I left and called the Verizon store from the car. The same young gentlemen answered the phone and I asked to speak to a manager as the man we first spoke to didn’t not what to help us since he’s not the person who completed the sale with us. I was never transferred to a manager but kept talking to the same man we first met there that evening. We informed him that FedEx assured us the phones were delivered at 2:22pm that day and S Lamb singed for them and the employee verified that was another associate who worked there. He offered the check again to see if the phone arrived and surprisingly this time he noticed there was ONE phone with no label and confirmed our color and size and came to the conclusion this has to be ours. How “odd” one wasn’t labeled but after asking for management and informing them FedEx doesn’t typically make up delivery dates, times, and signature names, he found the phone we purchased. Meanwhile we heard back from the FedEx store in New Bern who left us a voicemail confirming all 37 phones were delivered and she went as far to say each employee at the store counted each phone. So all in all we did end up getting our phone but the process wasted so much of our time simple because the young gentleman lied to us from the start all because he’s not the one who got credited with our sale and helping us was not going to benefit him in anyway. It’s such a shame that he chose to lie and waste our time and ultimately gave us the reality that these cellular sales stores are not who you want to be working with if you wanted to be treated fairly and with respect. They operate as if they are commission based or get credit for sales they make and if you’re not going to benefit then they don’t want to help you. As a 20+ year Verizon customer, it’s pretty disappointing they partner with cellular sales and they these stores don’t tell you up front how little they will do for you. We have learned from our mistakes and will be using the Verizon website in the future to find authentic stores. Thanks for your time reading this.

Consistently Outstanding Service from Travis at Swansboro Verizon
This is now my third customer service experience with Travis at the Verizon store in Swansboro, and once again, he absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single time I’ve worked with him, he’s been incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely committed to making sure everything is taken care of the right way.
Most recently, my phone completely died out of nowhere, leaving me without a reliable way to communicate — no calls, no texts, and no access to anything important. It was a stressful situation, but the moment I walked into the store, Travis completely turned my day around.
From the start, he was professional, calm, and empathetic. He understood how urgent the situation was and jumped into action without hesitation. He not only helped me figure out exactly what had gone wrong with my old phone, but also walked me through my best options clearly — no pressure, no sales pitch, just honest and informed guidance.
Travis took the time to make sure everything transferred properly and didn’t let me leave until my new phone was set up, tested, and working smoothly. He even made sure my contacts, apps, and settings were all restored — something I was really worried I had lost forever.
This level of customer service is rare, and the fact that Travis has consistently delivered it over multiple visits says a lot about his professionalism and dedication. If you’re in need of help with your phone or looking for a Verizon rep who actually cares, go see Travis in Swansboro. He’s a total lifesaver, and I’m beyond grateful.

Travis was fantastic! Efficient, and knowledgeable. He helped make this a pleasant experience. We switched from T-Mobile and he was patient with us through to the end. He even made sure we understood what we were getting and helped us set up our goodies.
