- BCBethany ClarkDec 9, 20251.0This guy at the store in Murphy is SO SO Shady. I started the conversation by saying - I am LOW maintence on my phone usage. The guy was slick! He barely said anything - just kept clicking buttons. On check out he said my total was $250. I said - Why? He said it was for the case and screen protector. so I told him I didn't want them then. So later I had a charge for $112 - which was fine, but also an additional charge for paying off the old phone- which was supposed to be included in the $112 - So that charge is now being disputed on my card. But you can't call back to the store because it routes you to a call center. To top it off he also added unlimited hotspot and unlimited storage without my clear knowledge also the full insurance plan- my phone bill went from 60$ a month to $107. Luckily - My phone is on a group plan and the manager of the plan knew this was not my style. He helped me take all of that off and I am back to a normal size phone bill. My son was with me - so my 15 year old got a great lesson in fraudulent sales practices and being more proactive in what you are signing and getting an actual receipt in the store - not just an emailed version. ALL BAD THINGS.
