I came into this store today seeking help with a Verizon phone that was shipped to me damaged. I had spoken with Verizon that morning and they told me I could easily get a free replacement at the store in person if I visited a corporate store (they left notes on my account stating so). I had used this store previously and felt confident it was a corporate store because service had been so good. However, this time was different. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a chocking smell of skunk marijuana. It permeated the whole store. The girl I spoke with seemed quite annoyed that I was asking for help. She said she had to go to the back and 'speak with a manager'. She then left and returned five minutes later. She told me I was in the wrong store for this kind of help because they "work off of commission" and I would have to pay fees to restock the phone. She said I could come back at 4 and speak with the manager, but they really couldn't help me and I should go somewhere else. She suggested I go to Kernersville (to the only corporate store she knew of that would be able to help me). I drove all the way to Kernersville and to my dismay, she had sent me to a retail cellular sales store. The guy who greeted me then told me that obviously she had lied to me because, in fact, the N Main High Point Verizon store IS a corporate store (he pulled it up on the Verizon website). I don't generally leave 1 star reviews and I hate to do it, but this was terrible service and the fact that she lied to me and sent me across town was beyond frustrating. I've never had a bad experience at this location and I'm disappointed that it's obviously lost its care for the customer. I ended up calling Verizon and they will have the phone shipped to my house tomorrow for free. I think the fact that customers are pushed away because employees don't want to work should cause concern for the wider community. Customers won't frequent stores anymore and people will lose jobs.

10/10, inquired about having a new phone activated. Katie was the associate that helped me, I was willing to buy myself out of a contract but Katie offered a solution that both satisfied my reason for a visit and saved me hundreds of dollars. Greatly appreciate the employees here, they are very friendly. I will choose this store in the future for service needs.
