Specifically ordered online to pick up in store. Was told 2 hours. After waiting until closing time then 2 hours after store opening next day, still had to call and check status. Said they would box up for locker. Went to store and still had not packaged order. Very rude as wasting their time.

So, here’s the deal: I went to the Apple store to get a replacement phone because mine broke. Then I headed straight to the Verizon store to activate it, since I couldn’t do that myself. When I got there, the manager—whose name I actually forgot—attended me. And then he basically said my ID wasn’t mine, that it was a fake or something like that, and refused to activate my phone.
He made me wait around for almost two hours while he kept talking to Verizon on the phone, insisting that my ID was fraudulent and that the number wasn’t mine. He never activated my phone, treated me really badly, was super rude and indifferent, and in the end just left me hanging there until the store was about to close at 7 p.m. Eventually, he basically sent me away without any solution.
In short, that store should be shut down. The staff there are completely unprofessional, they don’t know what they’re doing, and the way they treat customers is just terrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy or do any kind of business there. It’s just a horrible place with awful service. 10/09/25

Do not go into this store!! I did an online trade in for a new phone. I dropped off my.old phone here yesterday after factory resetting it but somehow they were able to get access to my bank and credit card accounts! They tried to transfer $10K from checking account to a new checking account they created. They changed the address to their address (driftwood ct Durham, NC). They also opened a credit card under my name. Reported to the authorities - these are the only people who had access to a device that previously had my personal info on it!

I came into this Verizon store looking to upgrade my iPhone, and the rep convinced me to get a new iPhone 15. He assured me—multiple times—that it would only cost $60 out of pocket and increase my monthly family bill by just $6. I asked several times for clarity, but he was vague and dodgy with the numbers. I should’ve trusted my gut.
Fast forward to the next bill—our family plan jumped over $100, and he had secretly added a new phone line to our account without our knowledge. He even chose a number with an area code from where my family’s from—clearly trying to sneak it past us.
This was flat-out deceptive. I regret not getting the rep’s name, but the whole interaction felt sketchy. Stay away from this store. Use Verizon’s online support or go to a different location. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.
