  My parents had an emergency with their dog and their regular vet’s office was closed. They were so thorough and compassionate! We left with meds in hand , but as soon as we got home the dog was failing. We rushed back to the vet’s office and determined it was time to let our little girl go. The team from the staff at the front desk, to the vet, to the rest of the staff were kind and compassionate. Even though they’d seen us twice in one day, and closing soon for the day, they took their time and showed their love and compassion for our fur baby and for us. They were all amazing in our time of distress and sadness.

  I decided to give TCV a try after many many years at another vet because of its location. I want to first point out that I have seen a couple of the Dr's outside of the office and they are great everyday nice people and they want nothing more than to care for your animals. With that said I will be going elsewhere for care. I felt with our first visit it was corporate run with corporate values so we decided to ask for a different Dr for our second visit. Same situation as the first with plenty of explanation of how smart the Dr was from himself. Lol. So, that was a whatever moment as we've had animals probably almost as long as this Dr has been alive. Now we had to call on a Saturday and we were out of town so I was told and explained very nicely by one of the office ladies about the vca app. Ok, cool I'm good with tech. It wouldn't allow a certain date so I called back to ask and I got the we don't run the app story. Ok, I get that but three strikes. Bottom line is they are not free thinkers and you can easily tell its a corporate script that they follow. If you are a new pet owner it may be a great place for you but have your CC handy because they are going to up sell you but again good people, they are just tied down by their paycheck. I get the I have to pay my bills too situation. I feel that this review is unfortunate because I really don't want to believe Healthcare for animals is as bad as insurance companies telling your Dr what they can and can't do but I also believe using reviews are a great way to educate each other. If it wasn't for the corporate concerns that I have I would definitely continue to see them but here we are.
