- CMC MCJan 1, 20261.0Verizon 625 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster. Appalling customer service. We brought a new Verizon pre-paid phone in there that we had purchased at Walmart. We wanted them to change over the old phone data, including the phone number, to the new phone. But this sales guy said that it required a new phone number. I asked him a few times why we couldn't keep the old number but he only repeated the same thing: "you will have to get a new phone number. The old number can't be switched over to the new phone". Then he got rude and belligerent and said "I have told you 3 times that you need a new number do I need to tell you a fourth?" of course his rudeness was a cover for he hadn't got a clue how to transfer data from the old phone. He must not have understand how SIM cards work. Of course he wanted us to buy a more expensive phone from his store. So we went to another Verizon store in Mount Airy and no bother they transferred everything over, including the phone number. What a rude idiot the guy in the Westminster store was. How do people like this get to work in customer service? I absolutely would not recommend using this store.

Then this other man who works there stepped in to be of help and he was nothing but rude. He treated me like I was an old person who didn't know what I was doing. A friend of mine has also been there before and had the same issues with him. I ended up going down to the I break you fix place and he said if I had insurance I should go back down to Verizon. So I go back there. Same guy, not the least bit helpful more obnoxious than anything! I might be older but I'm not stupid! Went back down to the tech guys down the block and I got my screen replaced. I did not have insurance apparently.
