    4.9 stars?!? Sorry, I don't get it. If I had a way to give them negative 4.9 stars, I would. I came into this store because it was close to home Vs the corporate store in Prince Frederick, which was a mistake. This is not a corporate store and is only an agent for Verizon. That being said, all I wanted was 2 new phones to replace our old phones. The old ones were paid off in full and we were eligible for upgrades. What I got was 2 new lines with those phones, with an iPad and my old phone still on our policy. They basically reactivated it with all the service charges, plan and taxes included on the old phones and cellular for the iPad. Ludicrous! On first arrival, ashante seemed to be in the know. She seemed to be quick, very knowledgeable and presented herself as being a Techie Guru promising that we would get our phones and a new apple iPad for free with 6 months of apple one for the iPad. Unfortunately, nothing was said about having to take on 2 new lines. Or that the iPad would require cellular service as well. I was shocked to see my bill come in from Verizon for this past month for over $460. I called to complain about it but just decided to go into the store and L.B. who supossedly was the temporary district manager said "Don't worry. I'll get this taken care of I'll talk with the formal district manager on Monday and I will call you. I will call you, I WILL call you". He never did. So then I had to call and find out why nobody called me. Come to find out, "Oh, he had already went home that day". So he lied. I then talked to ashante again where I was basically told that I was told these things, and that there was nothing she could do about fixing it, that I would have to talk to Verizon directly. And that, "oh well you signed the box" as if I'm some dumb ass. This little wet behind the ears person has the audacity to speak to a customer like she is better than me because I didn't understand something that she never fully explianed. I've been Verizon customer for over 30 years. All I needed was 2 new phones to upgrade our existing phones. Nothing else, but she decided that they had a great promotion last month like she would do me a favor to see if I can get in on that. But she did it and never explained that it also meant 2 new lines. I was then told that maybe the charges were due to bringing my trade in phone just before the one month deadline and maybe because we had more payments left on the old phones. Bull puckies. It was because of a kind of underhanded dishonest business practice to get people into new phones and just make the sale. It's not something that I appreciate even if that meant that I was getting 2 new phones and a new iPad. I'm not asking for reprimands. I would venture to say the only person who needed to be reprimanded is the owner of this store and subsequently then they should be the ones responsible to retrain their employees. They failed me 100% on all levels. Then, to top it all off, I had to spend 2 hours on the phone and chatting with Verizon Corporate in order to get it resolved. I guess my next question is, where should I send my invoice? I bill out at $200 an hour for my services. I will never do business with them again and I would venture to say you're risking a lot by going to them, even though they have all these high ratings and tout how they're one of the leading agents for Verizon in the area. I don't buy it, and I never will. Absolutely no apology can make up for this travesty. Good luck to them in their future endeavors. Hopefully this review causes lost customers that compares with my loss of time, including writing this nothing less than scathing review. Do yourself a favor and go to the Corporate office store in Prince Frederick by Wawa. At least there they can do something about mistakes by fast talking shady sales reps who dont know how to clearly explain Verizon corporate programs, policies and procedures. Next step would have been our Teamster Union lawyers if Verizon had not corrected TCC's errors.
