Richard Palmer at Verizon provided excellent customer service while helping us set up our cell phones. He was patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly, making the entire process easy and stress-free. Richard took the time to ensure each we understood how to setup one phone and are able to apply the same knowledge we gained to setup the other 2 cells phone while at home. He answered all questions without rushing. His professionalism and friendly attitude made a big difference. Highly recommend working with Richard if you need help at Verizon.

It is usually a great annoyance and irritation when I find I must drag myself into a Verizon store for any phone related issues. Finding instead any way to fix the problems by myself. This judgment has stayed with me for many years until I was referred to Mo at the Verizon store in Derwood. Not truly trusting that the customer services could really be as wonderful as was stated I was still apathetic upon arrival. I very quickly realized my mistake in judging all Verizon store employees the same. Mo was not only kind when I very clearly was confused, but he was also very patient when I was indecisive. As a customer I was most assuredly not the easiest to deal with and definitely took a lot of his time to figure out my problem. But never once did Mo make me feel bad and instead solved all that I needed help with, while also getting me a new phone. He went above and beyond to help both myself and others in my family. Besides his knowledge and guidance, he was incredibly professional and I cannot recommend him highly enough! I hope that all who have phone issues in this area have the pleasure of being helped by Mo.

I dont usually post reviews but i had to because of the last review left me disgusted!! I was there when all this happened. this couple was extremely disrespectful towards Mohit. Even he was busy taking care of all the customers, he helped this couple. Its horrible how many lies have been thrown out there specially with elderly man who left laughing with him which she didnt mention OFCOURSE ! Clearly personal frustration coming out on someone else . Disgusted with their disrespectful behavior . Mohit has been very efficient and helpful with our process and we highly recommend working with him .

I recently had a disappointing experience at this location. From the beginning, Mo came across as condescending. While I’m sure he is knowledgeable in his role, the overall vibe in the store felt unwelcoming. I came in with my girlfriend, who was trying to resolve an issue with her new phone. While Mo was assisting other customers, we felt rushed and pushed aside. He stated that the phone had service and that the issue was resolved, but did not clearly explain what the problem was or what had been fixed. I understand multitasking, but we did not feel we received full attention or a proper explanation. We asked whether it was possible to have a screen protector applied, even though it had been purchased at another Verizon location. When told it was not allowed, I expressed frustration with the policy. Rather than showing empathy, Mo became defensive and focused on justifying himself instead of acknowledging our concerns. While my girlfriend was on a phone call discussing the screen protector, Mo inserted himself into her space and into her conversation. He repeatedly interrupted her and did not allow her to fully explain, which made the situation feel uncomfortable and dismissive. It felt less about solving the issue and more about ego. We ultimately left the store feeling dissatisfied. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that additional customer service training or coaching is provided, as this experience fell short of expectations.

This review concerns Mohit Sharma and his profoundly unprofessional conduct. I entered the store with my boyfriend when an elderly man walked in just ahead of me, politely asking for a phone charger. Mohit approached him, took the man’s phone, rolled his eyes, and remarked, “You just got this phone two weeks ago.” The senior customer was visibly embarrassed. This dismissive and demeaning behavior toward an elderly customer was inappropriate and unacceptable—strike one. Mohit then assisted me with an issue related to my phone setup. I calmly explained that I had skipped a step involving scanning a QR code for an eSIM because I did not have access to it. He repeatedly interrupted me, dismissing my explanation and insisting that I “just call someone” because he saw signal bars. When I did so and confirmed it worked, I asked what step I had missed. Instead of answering, he abruptly demanded my phone number so he could call me, reiterating, “I told you it works,” with a clear attitude. Though irritated, I chose to move past it—strike two. Since I was already there, I asked if he could apply a screen protector for me. He became visibly irritated and stated, without explanation, that because the protector was not purchased at a Verizon store, he would not help me. He failed to clarify that this was allegedly due to a corporate-versus-retail policy. While I was on the phone with my brother—who had purchased the screen protector—Mohit stormed over and inserted himself into my private conversation, repeating that “only corporate locations can do that.” My boyfriend casually remarked that it seemed like a strange rule, simply expressing confusion. Despite me telling Mohit that I was still on the phone and asking him to give me a moment, he ignored me and aggressively continued the interaction. He escalated the situation further by angrily stating that the rule was “not stupid” and that my boyfriend should “never say that.” At that point, Mohit announced that he was calling the police. I was completely taken aback, as nothing remotely threatening or disruptive had occurred. He then put the phone down, which strongly suggested this was a bluff—especially since a similar incident appears to have been mentioned in a prior review. I calmly attempted to explain why the situation had escalated, but he cut me off, claiming he had “other customers to help,” as if I had entered the store with malicious intent. He then stated that the store cameras would “back him up,” implying that I had threatened or harassed him. This is categorically false. I was seated the entire time, never approached him aggressively, and never disrupted other customers. If the cameras are reviewed, they will clearly show his hostile and confrontational behavior—both toward me and toward the elderly man earlier. No customer should be treated with such disrespect, condescension, or aggression. Given that this appears to be a recurring issue, I sincerely hope Verizon reevaluates its management at this location. I will be escalating this matter through the appropriate channels to ensure this review reaches those who need to see it.
