I had one of the most frustrating, disrespectful, and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with Verizon.
Just three days after purchasing my iPhone 17 Pro, I noticed a screen issue and called this store 3–4 hours in advance to confirm everything before coming. I clearly asked if they had the phone in stock, if they could process an exchange, and what time they closed. They told me they had the device, they could handle the exchange, and that the store closed at 9 PM.
I arrived at 8 PM, exactly one hour before closing. The moment I walked in, their faces dropped. Suddenly, everything they said on the phone didn’t matter anymore. They told me they “weren’t expecting me to come this late” and refused to help me because the process would “take too long.”
I offered to do the iCloud backup myself to save them time. The employee agreed and started the process. He opened a sealed box, began transferring my line, took pictures of the IMEI, and processed the initial steps — then out of nowhere, after about 15–20 minutes, he told me to “go back to the store where I bought it” because he couldn’t finish the process.
To make things worse, he spent around 40 minutes on the phone with customer service while I waited, only to tell me in the end that nothing could be done.
I walked in with a defective phone and left with absolutely nothing resolved. No replacement. No explanation. No apology. Just rude behavior, wasted time, and complete disrespect.
This employee was unbelievably rude — talking to me and my father like we were a problem rather than customers. His attitude was careless, dismissive, and honestly insulting. It felt like he was mocking us the entire time.
I wasted my evening based on their own words over the phone. They had the stock. They confirmed the exchange. They started the process. And then they left me hanging with nothing.
This level of service is unacceptable, especially from a company like Verizon. If this is how your staff treats paying customers who trusted your brand, then there is a serious problem that needs to be fixed.

I recently upgraded my phone at the Verizon Cellular Store in Rock Springs Shopping Center in Bel Air, MD. Gabby Weidner was excellent to work with. She took enormous time making sure no data was lost and fully set up my new phone. Excellent Experience.

On Thursday I visited the Bel Air Verizon store and received excellent customer service from Andrew. Unfortunately, we were not able to complete the data transfer process to my new phone because my old phone was malfunctioning. We made a plan for me to see Andrew at the Rock Spring store to complete the data transfer process today. When I arrived, Andrew was helping another customer, but Justin stepped in to help me. I don't know who is doing the hiring for Verizon, but you are smashing it out of the park. Justin was so helpful, patient in working with my old phone (which was not having a better day today), and really personable. He made waiting through the transfer process a great experience. Highly recommend both the Bel Air and Rock Spring stores and especially Andrew and Justin. Fantastic customer service skills on display! Thank you, Justin, for being such great Verizon representative!

I went in today to upgrade my phone. My sales rep was Kayla Foust and she was great! As soon as I walked in the building, she welcomed me and was eager to help. She walked me through the entire process and helped me determine what phone would be the best fit for me personally. She made the experience super easy and was so kind the entire time. She was very patient with all of my questions as well. If you need assistance with anything at this store I definitely recommend Kayla. Thanks again ☺️

Very friendly representative. Helped our every step of the way to describe a new phone. Went to The Avenue at White Marsh, the lady didn't want to he'll new at all. I would recommend this place.
