I had a guinea pig that had something wrong with her. She was peeing orange and her belly got round and hard. Being limited on where i can go for guinea pigs, i called for an appointment and was told the next available was a month away. Unfortunately my sweet girl didnt make it to her appointment date. She passed the other day in my arms. I never heard of a place that books so far out for a sick animal. That's ridiculous.

The vets are great, the people at the front desk not so much, almost like they don't want to be there. The only issue I have is that one they sneaked a $400 tests without my consent when they already had given me the estimate, instead of $800 I paid around $1300

Yesterday we had to take our beloved little girl Izzy, a beautiful cat, to the vet. She was 16 and rapidly declining. Although we knew what must be done- it is never easy. Dr Brian, Eileen, Nicole, and the entire staff were remarkable. Dr Brian was amazing, his compassion and understanding of our decision calmed us and helped us through this most difficult time. It seemed to us that he was giving us all the time we needed and answered all questions with respect. I would not hesitate to recommend this office to anyone seeking pet care. Kindness today is so often difficult to find. We are so very appreciative of how quickly we were seen and the compassion that was shown to us and Izzy. Thank you all for being such wonderful people.

Then told me after 10 min of going in and out of the room they couldn’t see her because they were closing. Left and everyone was standing around on their phones. THEY DONT CARE

We have three different critters that go to VCA, well they used to. We had a cat that had a rear paw injury we thought that he broke his leg. We called them at 9:30 in the morning but they couldn't schedule him for 4 days we ended up taking him to emergency vet. Today we had a dog literally seizing when we called them they said that they closed in 10 minutes and to go to West Springfield we literally live less than 1 minute away and we ended up going 30 minutes away to have a emergency vet. If you love your pets that you love your children this is not the place for them.
