This creates both a customer security risk and a financial liability. What is most disturbing is that the computer screen Marcus was using was turned away from me. I had no visibility into whether he was entering the correct phone number or credentials, or whether he was simply locking me out of my own account. This lack of transparency undermines confidence in the process and raises questions about both intent and integrity. I will be filing a police report to document the stolen phone, and this review serves as an official record that Verizon, through this employee’s actions, obstructed my ability to secure and manage my account. Such failures undermine customer trust and expose clients to preventable fraud.
