Went to upgrade my phone and the salesman added on 4 extra lines and numerous other services I neither asked for nor wanted. My bill went from $130 to almost $400! I've heard from a number of sources that they do this quite often to their customers. Verizon corporate is investigating this store. The Fairhaven Police have received many reports on this store by other customers they have blatantly scammed.

- FCFrank Cairns5 days ago1.0I was totally ripped off by Malcom at this store. I went there to get help changing a new SIM card I received from Verizon. Malcom siad it was a 5G card and wouldn't work. He then said that 4G doesn't work anymore and I needed a new phone. I bought a new Iphone 17. When I got home I found from an e-mail and a call to Verizon that I had been charged for an additional line and several services that were not even discussed. None of that appeared on the receipt he gave me. I went to Apple in Providence I then found out that I could get an E SIM card and my old phone would be fine. It is now working. I was conned into a new phone and further impacted by charges for services I didn't want. When I went to return the phone the manager said he would have to charge a restocking fee because Malcom wasn't working today and he had to verify the story. So I have to return tomorrow when Malcom is there. So much for valuing the customer! I SUGGEST TO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THE FAIRHAVEN STORE
