The front staff was so warm and inviting to me, the vet tech was extremely attentive in getting the details down about my two guinea pigs, and Dr. Roy is a paragon for what an excellent animal doctor should encompass: Not only did he listen to my concerns, but he "listened" to my two rescues in a way that I never expected two critters to be on their maiden voyage to a vet out of a rescue situation! They calmed immediately for him and he was excellent at explaining future eventualities to me. Anyone hesitant to try a VCA who has small critters, please give this DVM a chance! He is also great with your canines and felines, I've heard, but his heart is with exotics and his mind is client-focused. Thank you all! *rumble* Bandit *nose up* Bud *from the people* Thank you!

I was very nervous because my pup is older but the staff was so welcoming and wonderful. They had my dog's name up on the board when I got there, cheering her on. When I brought my pup into the examination room, Dr. Kathy got down on the floor with her and talked to her so lovingly. You can tell that Dr. Kathy loves dogs and does this work because of that. She did an excellent job removing the mass and the incision site is clean and the stitches are perfect. Dr. Kathy even carried my pup out to my car after the surgery because she was too loopy from the surgery meds to walk. When I called after the surgery because my pup was pacing, Dr. Kathy was so attentive and got the phone right away to troubleshoot with me. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They put me at ease, they treated my pup with love and care and I am so grateful for the whole experience.
