Awful, poorly run store. I've been with Verizon for 20 years and love the (cell) service. But getting service in this store is like pulling teeth. I've been here many times because it's convenient and close to my house. But I've spent 2 hours here before buying a phone. Recently came in and quit after 30 minutes of waiting. We were on the list, and one person was being helped, while four other employees stood there looking at their phones. It shouldn't be this difficult; you'd think associates and the store would benefit from getting customers in and out. You could literally close on a house faster than you can get a phone here.

I spent about three hours in this store trying to upgrade my phone. While my sales associate Jordy was incredibly kind, patient, and did everything he could to help me, the experience overall was frustrating and disappointing because of how I was treated by the store manager. When I walked in, the manager greeted me briefly, then immediately passed me off to Jordy without asking any questions about why I was there. At the time, I assumed that was standard practice. But once things became more complicated, it was clear she had no intention of being involved or helpful. I explained to Jordy that my phone had suddenly stopped working. People couldn’t hear me during calls, and I couldn’t hear myself when recording. Since I rely heavily on my phone for both personal and business use, I had to find a solution quickly. My mother let me use an extra phone temporarily, and I brought both devices to the store. The phone I was trying to trade in was the only one under contract. I had used it consistently for two years and it had no physical damage. The loaner had only been in use for three days and was never under contract. I was told I could upgrade by paying off the current device, covering the sales tax, and paying the upgrade fee. That sounded fair, so I went ahead and paid it off. Afterward, Jordy explained that the system wouldn’t allow the upgrade to go through because Verizon’s policy requires the phone in use to be active for at least 60 days. I was confused, because I had just paid off the phone I’d used for two years. I made it clear that I wasn’t upset with Jordy, only frustrated by the policy. He offered to escalate the issue and went to speak with the manager. She came over looking visibly irritated. I calmly explained my situation, but she cut me off and said there was nothing she could do. She told me I could call customer care, but said, “They’re just going to tell you the same thing.” She offered no assistance, showed no interest in finding a solution, and walked away mid-conversation. She didn’t stick around to troubleshoot, didn’t listen, and made it very clear she wasn’t interested in helping at all. I spent the next two hours in the store on the phone with Verizon’s customer service. The first rep couldn’t help but graciously transferred me ti the second one who did and I was finally able to move forward with my upgrade. I had chosen a phone that was in stock, so it was ready for same-day pickup. I was told I just needed to wait for the locker to be unlocked. Instead, I had to wait for the manager to be good and ready to go retrieve the phone herself. She sat at the front desk doing nothing for a while, then took a FaceTime call, loudly shouted “I knew it was a girl!” during what appeared to be a gender reveal, and continued laughing and reacting before disappearing into the back. Eventually, Jordy brought the phone out himself. I left the store with a phone, but only because of Jordy and the second customer care rep. The manager’s behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and honestly disrespectful. She made a difficult situation worse, and if this hadn’t been time-sensitive for my business, I would have taken my service elsewhere. Jordy deserves five stars. The rest of this experience was unacceptable.

I went in to get some information on closing a line, possible trade in or upgrade options, and to purchase a brand new iPad and accessories for my 7yr old daughter for her birthday. Instead, i got rushed to hurry and shut off the line and I only wanted to ask questions at that point as to understand all charges and hidden charges, then I wasn’t even told there will be charges for changing in the middle of my payment plan, I had to ask to verify from a previous purchase that we had been charged. She talked over me and made me feel like I was taking up her time, probably since it was close to closing and she needed me gone so she could get off. Unfortunately for this location, I definitely won’t be purchasing any iPad or any other device or accessory here. And I won’t be coming back to have to deal with crabby employees with no respect or customer curiosity. Please raise your children with better morals, values, and respect people.
