I just had one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had at any Verizon location. The service I received at this store felt somewhere between inept and racist, and people deserve to know what they may be walking into.
The associate who helped me, the balding gentleman, seemed completely disinterested from the moment he started assisting me. His tone and attitude made it feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer needing help.
When the manager, Brittany, got involved, I expected things to improve, but instead her behavior felt just as dismissive, unhelpful, and condescending. The way both employees interacted with me left me feeling singled out and disrespected on a level I’ve never experienced in a corporate store.
It was so unacceptable that when I later called Verizon’s corporate customer service, on a recorded line, the representative actually reacted in real time and said, “Wow, they are speaking to you awful.” That alone tells you everything about how bad this interaction was.
Whatever the cause, incompetence, bias, or something else, the treatment I experienced at this store was completely unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable.
