I was reminded today why you can’t just go to any VZW. Spoke to an associate a week ago about upgrading my daughter’s phone. For the past couple of years I have avoided doing an upgrade at the store unless I knew the associate had been with the company for sometime and knew what they were doing. I decided to give a store upgrade a chance today because the manager expressed how upgrading at the store helps their numbers. I sent my daughter into the store with the print out I had received a week ago about upgrading her phone line. The print out had my daughter’s number listed the number needing the upgrade. Get home the phone doesn’t work. Tried calling tech support there was a 45 minute wait. Ended up back at the store the young lady upfront checking people in danced around my question about the current process of getting a phone upgraded at the store (she seemed irritated as if she had to take two trips to the store and was inconvenienced). She said the process now is they hand you the phone for you to leave and activate it. I asked for a manager who pulled up the account and the phone wasn’t upgraded on the line that it was supposed to be on. My daughter said they never even asked her the line the phone was for even though she had the print out that showed the number that was previously discussed with me for the upgrade. Whoever is calling the shots from up top sure messed up with getting rid of all the knowledgeable VZW employees. But they continue to charge a phone upgrade fee even though they don’t activate phones bought in store or even verify what they are doing before causing customers to be inconvenienced.

Andy was put through many challenges to trade in my friends phone. A process that usually only takes a max of 20 minutes took over an hour due to complications that weren’t his fault. The entire time he was very leveled headed and kept it straight with us trying to help us the best way he could. In the end we did the trade which we didn’t think was going to happen at a point and it was all thanks to him and his commitment to helping us. We really appreciate you and everything you did for us!

Andy was great, I was trying to trade in my old phone and there were some hangups because of the system, but he figured everything out and gave us all the information and phone numbers we needed incase there were any issues.
After that he helped me pick out a phone case and camera protectors and even put them on my phone for me!
