He was sitting at the front door and a little old man needed help with his bank app. He repeatedly talked down to him very loud trying to embarrass the man and make him feel stupid. Myself and other customers couldn’t believe this was tolerated. I asked a lady for help ( she looked like a supervisor) and asked if she could stop the man from being treated so awfully. She advised that she worked for the business team and had already tried to bring it to upper management. Why is this being allowed? I see tons of reviews before mine speaking of the same manager joe. This needs fix. Elder abuse. This is why people are leaving verizon

Its alledged Verizon is aware of this managers actions but allows it to continue "WHY" does Verizon look the other way?

She was knowledgeable about how to help us and didn’t hound us with 100 up charges that we were clear we didn’t want. Unfortunately, the micromanaging from the Assistant Manager, Joe, was evident and uncomfortable. He stood over Jill and two other specialists, Malik and Keith, shoulder the entire time they were helping their customers. He had what should have been a private conversation with Jill, out in the open, where his tone and word choice was condescending. He was talking to Jill like she was stupid. He then proceeded to tell Malik, in-front of the family he was helping that he wasn’t putting on the screensaver correctly. After Malik was done, Joe came over to inspect his work to find that it WAS applied correctly his only response was shock that Malik actually did it right… It was uncomfortable to witness and unprofessional.
