Instead of offering real assistance, the employee insisted she needed a brand-new phone and claimed nothing else could be done. Thankfully, my mom had her go to the other Verizon location in town. There, an employee simply performed a reset and the phone worked perfectly again. No new phone needed. (We had already walked her through that step over the phone and assumed she had completed it, but sometimes distance makes troubleshooting tricky I live a few hours away.) This store clearly isn’t focused on helping customers—it’s focused on upselling, even at the expense of elderly customers who just need a little guidance. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone… not even the telemarketer who keeps calling about my car’s extended warranty.
