- MCMatt CooperDec 24, 20251.0I had a very frustrating experience with the Verizon store in Winfield. On 12/19/25, I placed an order for a new iPhone that was supposed to be available for pickup at this location the very next day. I never received any notification that it was ready, so I called the store. Each time I called, an unfriendly female employee answered and told me their system was down with no timeline for when it would be fixed. She instructed me to go online and switch my pickup location, but that was not an available option. Verizon online chat confirmed that changing pickup stores could not be done and advised me to either wait until the store has my order ready OR just cancel the order. I called the Winfield store three days in a row and received the same response, in the same dismissive tone, with no real help or follow-up. On the fourth day, I received an email from Verizon stating my order was canceled because I “failed to pick it up,” even though the phone was never made available in the first place. This situation was entirely avoidable with better communication and customer service. Unfortunately, this store created a lot of unnecessary frustration and wasted time.
