- DNDavid NormanJul 14, 20252.0so the last time I was in this Verizon store I had a very nice experience it always seems to take forever it's like these guys are paid by the minute but nonetheless everything got taken care of it just took way too long but then my most recent visit after sitting there for 15 minutes watching a bunch of employees going in and out of the sales room finally somebody comes to help me and then asks me first thing if I have my driver's license well first off instead of his business if I have a driver's license which I clearly do he can ask me for a picture ID but he can't ask me for my driver's license which I don't keep in my pocket it was in my car and I just didn't really feel like going back out to my car so instead of dealing with all the bullshit I just walked out and called customer service it was way easier what's funny to me is is how they want to tell you oh we're trying to protect your account but there are people in the store who know me personally My former business works there she actually check me in and knows who I am so really did I need to get hassled for an ID it's just stupid I just hate every Verizon store
