- ODOlena DembrovychDec 26, 20252.0I had a very disappointing experience at this Total by Verizon location. I came in only to transfer my existing phone number and eSIM to a new device (BYOD). This was not a new line, and my service was already active. According to Total’s own policy, this type of transfer can be done online for free. However, the staff did not inform me about the free online option and instead charged me $55, even though my receipt shows: Phone Activation / Device Upgrade — $0.00 Activation payment — $0.00 The charge was applied under “SET & GO / BNT,” which effectively forced me to pay for something that was not required. I feel this was misleading and unnecessary. Customers should be clearly told when a service can be completed at no cost online, instead of being charged in-store. I hope management reviews this practice and issues a refund.
