We usually have a good experience at Verizon stores but our experience here was terrible. We came in to pick up a new iPhone and then trade in an old one. The assistant manager, Sam, explicitly told us it was the policy that we could only trade in the old phone after 24 hours and that we had to leave the store to activate our new phone unless we wanted to pay the $30 fee for an associate to help us with the procedure. So we left but were so confused because we’d never heard of these rules. We came back later with a question about our trade in and asked another associate about what Sam told us. She said that what he said wasn’t true and told us we could activate our new phone and then trade in the old one in store, as long as we did that all on our own. After getting everything done, we mentioned to Sam that what he told us was unhelpful and even wrong and he was defensive and unapologetic. He insisted he was right and didn’t want to take the feedback even though we wasted hours of our time because of what he told us. We’re never coming back to this store ever again and we’ll advise others we know not to come here.

This store should be shutdown. The staff there is rude and lie to people to get them into to new phones. Proceed with caution at this location. Very unprofessional and will take advantage of you if you are not up to date with all Verizon is offering.

They charged me for a new phone. There software was not working correctly. There computer said it was declining a charge because it was a duplicate and I could show them the charge on my phone. The managers response to this was to try and charge me again and then I could argue about it later if I got double billed. When I told them I did not want them to do this, the managers response was "the machine that charged you is not our's. It's another company system so they where not responsible for it." Ok then Cancel my order. Ok done, can you show me the cancelation. No!!!!!! So now I have a charge on my credit card that I am in the process of disputing and still no new phone. Great service from the manager.
