- BGBrandy GAug 1, 20251.0This city is already a sad environment so maybe this will not come as a surprise to most. I traveled in from Dallas TX to see my mom and wanted to switch her old iPhone to my former, still well-functioning iPhone. I walk in and the lady behind the counter said hi and asked how she could help. When in business situations, I am fiarly straight forward. It is just my personality. This employee must have taken it wrong because she snapped at me mulitple times as she asked questions about the various information she needed to switch the phones. Moments later, my dad walked up and her tone changed completely. I do take offense because one customer should not receive poor treatment and another receive high-quality customer service. I am glad she did not snap at my dad because it would have changed me into another person entirely. Besides the rude confrontation, the excessively loud rap music being played out of a large speaker was unprofessional. Humor me as I refer to the "F" word in its alphabetical form. This "F" word was on repeat throughout the song as the employee assisting me was bopping her head to the beat. WOW! This is the type of reason I moved out of this low life "city" many years ago. I do hope that Cricket can find a better employee that can respect its customers but also create an environment that is inviting and appropriate. Unfortunately, if you are a Cricket customer, this is the only location in the Decatur area and its surrounding small towns such as Mt. Zion and Forsyth. I think the best resolution would be to do it yourself online with Cricket (which is what we chose to do) or to become a Boost customer and visit the Forsyth location where the ladies are professional and attentive.
