    20 yr business customer walked in the the store to buy a tablet for one of my kids...after walking around trying to find a place to check-in for more than 5 minutes.... Mr. Acevedo waved me over without leaving the high-top desk with "Yo... you need help?"... it took about 2 minutes before I decided to end the discussion leave the store due to Mr. Acevedo's unwillingness to look into a question I had about a trade-in credit...I found out today I continue to have a pending order with his name on it for the same tablet... I spent 4 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to resolve today.. the identify theft unit and all.. I'm sure he failed to cancel it out but no one was able to help me either... This has compounded into making it impossible to make any other transactions.. Crystal Lake used to be my store to avoid the BS.... I'm sure the same manager isn't still there but, I'll never step foot in there again.

    I feel bamboozled. I worked with Gerardo, who at first seemed very helpful and accommodating, convincing me to switch from my regular phone plan to business, ensuring me it would be a cheaper deal while presenting the numbers on a scrap piece of paper. Based off the trust and rapport from that meeting, I went ahead and switched. Biggest mistake ever. When the bill came, it was more than DOUBLE then what was quoted. When I attempted to contact him via text, call, and email, I got no response. Called customer service who advised not to pay the bill until they escalate the issue. My internet and phone got disconnected which impacted business operation. To resolve it, I ended up not only needing to pay the original bill, but an additional late payment fee. After a few more months of being overcharged finally I had enough and recently switched over to another carrier. Got charged about $600 for cancelling early. Worst experience with a company and ever. If you’re thinking of a new phone company, stay far away from Verizon.

    Very dissatisfied with the switch to Verizon from T-Mobile. My bill is more than I was promised, I have no insurance on any of my devices as promised. Gerardo talked a great game, and as I waited for all these “credits” to hit…nothing changed. Called and spoke with customer service last month and she assured me that she could take 15% off my bill with no problem and then for the rest of the items I should go to the store. This month’s bill comes and they did not take the 15% off and after an hour and a half conversation with customer service on the phone, they informed me that there were no notes that described our last conversation and there was nothing she could do for me. I am exploring the ability to change back at this time. I would make sure if anyone wants to go and try to do business with this company and this store in particular they should get everything in writing.

    I had a phenomenal experience with Kristen. She was so helpful and her attention to detail was incredible. Her explanation was helpful and easy to understand. I highly recommend going to this store. If you are looking for exceptional service with your account details, purchasing a new phone or tablet. Whatever it may be ask for Kristen!
